Investigador Pre-Doc
Bachelor in Food Science and Technology

Mireia Burdó obtained her Bachelor in Food Science and Technology (2010-2014) title and that of the Master in Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (2014-2015) by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her Master thesis was hold in Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. There she had worked on graphene-based sensors to monitor food spoilage. After finishing the Master, she has worked in the microbiological lab of a Food Industry, being in charge of the quality control and of spoilage studies.

Now she is working in GTQ group in National Microelectronics Centre where, apart from the collaboration in the PANBioRA European project, she will realize a Food Science PhD. Her doctoral thesis will be based on the application of microfluidic technologies to monitor food-packaged spoilage.
